What's the pass rate for this exam? This is one question we at EXIN often get asked. After all, most people believe that a high pass rate increases their own chance of passing. In reality it is wrong to assume this. Passing an exam only depends on an individual’s performance, because EXIN establishes passing requirements beforehand and each exam paper is assessed on individual merit.
EXIN has great interest in pass rates, monitoring them closely for fluctuations or trends, and through interacting with training providers and candidates for their feedback. When we introduce a new exam we keep a close watch on pass rates.
During the pilot phase, when the exam is tested, we evaluate all aspects of the exam, including pass rates. During the pilot phase it is quite possible that adjustments are made to the exam, for example to the degree of difficulty of the questions.
The pass rate is an important indicator of each exam. But passing is and remains a personal feat!
